Edit or Delete a transfer account in A2A

At any time, you can edit or delete external accounts from your list that have been previously added for Account to Account transfers. 

Edit a transfer account nickname

The account nickname is the only detail you can edit once the account connection has been established and verified. If there are inaccurate account details, you must delete the account then add it back in. Click here for instructions on adding an account.

In order to edit the nickname on an external transfer account,  follow the steps below:

  1. Select Transfer Between My Accounts from the I want to drop-down menu.
  2. Select the Accounts tab then select an account, or click the Details link to view the account details.
  3. Click the Change Nickname button then type in your desired account nickname. Click Save Changes.

Your account with your newly changed nickname will now appear in your Accounts list. 


Delete a transfer account

In order to delete an external transfer account,  follow the steps below:

  1. Select Transfer Between My Accounts from the I want to drop-down menu.
  2. Select the Accounts tab then select an account or click the Delete link to view the account details. A2A_AccountsList-DeleteHighlight
  3. Click the Delete Account link. In the confirmation pop-up window, click Delete Account to confirm. The deleted account will no longer appear in your list of accounts.

Note: Once an account is deleted, it will no longer be accessible for Account to Account Transfers. You will need to re-add and verify an external account in order to use it again. Click here for instructions on adding a new account.
