In-App VisiBill User Notifications

Understanding VisiBill Notifications in Bill Pay

VisiBill is designed to help you keep track of your bills with ease—and notifications are there to help. These alerts let you know when there’s something new or important related to one of your payees.

Where Notifications Appear

VisiBill notifications show up in the upper right corner of your Bill Pay dashboard, right on the VisiBill button. When there’s a new notification, you’ll see a red circle appear on the button—this is your cue that there’s something that needs your attention.

What Notifications Might Tell You

Notifications can vary, but here are a few common examples:

  • View: You might be prompted to review a new bill or an update related to one of your payees.

  • Link: Some payees may be eligible for VisiBill that have not been linked. In that case, a notification might ask you to link your account to VisiBill.

  • Dismiss: Not every notification requires action. If the alert isn’t relevant or needed, you may choose to simply dismiss it.

What Happens When You Dismiss a Notification?

When you dismiss a notification, it disappears from view—but that doesn’t mean the underlying item is gone. For example, if you dismiss a prompt to link a payee, the unmatched payee may still be waiting in your VisiBill list. It’s always a good idea to review your full list to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

VisiBill notifications are there to help you stay organized and on top of your bills. Keep an eye on the red circle—it’s your friendly reminder that something may need your attention.
