Step 2: Enable automated reminders and settings
Let Autobooks do the work to remind slow-paying customers of outstanding invoices. You can also enable late fees to be automatically assessed, and enable sales tax at a global level for all invoices. Click here for detailed instructions.
Step 3: Add your product offerings
You can create your product list in advance of sending an invoice or add a product on the fly as you create invoices...it's up to you! Click here to learn how to set up a product list in advance.
You can also use our Product Pricing tool to help price your products to offset payment processing fees. Click here for more details on our tool, and go to Settings > Plans & Pricing to see your processing rates with Autobooks.
Step 4: Add your customer list (optional)
If you have a regular list of customers, you can pre-load that list of customers to Autobooks. Click here to learn how.
Step 5: Send yourself a test invoice
Send yourself a test invoice to experience exactly what your customers will see once you start to send invoices for your business. You can always delete this invoice from your list later. NOTE: When you send a test invoice, use a different email address than your business address. Click here to learn how to create an invoice.
