  4. If you'd like, enter a message to send along with your payment.
  5. Click Continue to the next step.
  6. To make sure the correct recipient receives your money, you'll need to create a secret word for your recipient. Once you've created your secret word, click Create Secret Word & Continue.

    💡
This secret word is going to be used as an authentication tool for your recipient to receive their funds. You will need to share your secret word with the recipient outside of Bill Pay. Secret words are not case sensitive.

  7. We will authenticate your identity to trigger sending the payment to your recipient. Select your preferred authentication delivery method (either via email, text, or phone call). Once you receive your authentication code, enter the four digit code and click Authenticate User & Send Payment Request.

8. Your money is on the way to your recipient! Once you've entered your authentication code you'll see a reminder to send your secret word to your recipient. Click Continue

You'll see a summary screen of your payment. From here, click Send More Money to transfer money to another recipient or close the window to return to the Bill Pay main menu.
