All manually added accounts must be verified through two small micro-deposits from the consumer bank account to the external account to establish the connection. The consumer must complete the verification process by following the steps below:
- Click the Deposit Verification Required message showing below an account, or click the Verify link to open the Verify Account window.
- In the Verify Account window, you'll need to enter the amount of the two small micro-deposits that were sent to the external account. NOTE: These deposits are not listed inside Account to Account transfers, or available in the account details screen.
- Once you've located the two deposits and entered the dollar amounts into the window, click Verify. You'll see the Account Verified message appear. You can now begin using this account to transfer money.
Note: Any accounts that have not been verified will not be eligible to send or receive funds through the Account to Account (A2A) process.
