Autobooks deposits payments and assesses fees from the bank account you designate upon enrollment. You may encounter a need to change the bank account you've connected to Autobooks at some point in the future.
Some reasons include:
- You connected Autobooks to the wrong bank account at enrollment.
- You've opened a new bank account at your current financial institution for business reasons and want to connect us to the new account.
- You have moved your business account to a different financial institution.
If you need to change your designated bank account for Autobooks, you'll need to contact Autobooks Customer Care to deactivate the current account. Before you do, here are some things you can do to prepare for the change:
- Make note of any payments you've taken that have not been deposited yet to your current bank account for Autobooks. If you know the date the payment was initiated, make note of that as well.
- Download any data from your current Autobooks account you wish to keep for record keeping purposes. If you're not sure how, check out our article here about downloading your data. NOTE: Once you deactivate the existing connection, you will no longer have access to this data.
- Contact Autobooks Customer Care to deactivate the connection to the bank account you no longer wish to use for Autobooks.
Once Autobooks has deactivated your existing bank account connection, you will be able to log into your financial institution online banking site to re-enroll and connect the new bank account.
