Accept Payments with the Autobooks App for iPhone

Autobooks makes it easy for you to accept payments more quickly through the Accept Payments by Autobooks app.

Things to consider:

  • Accept Payments by Autobooks app is only available inside of the Apple App Store for iOS devices. 
  • You may grant access to our app to your employees (see below for instructions on how to add users).
  • If you have already provided access to your employees, they will need to download this app in order to proceed.

How our app works: 

After you have enrolled in Autobooks through your financial institution, you or your employees can accept payments with the Autobooks app without the need to log into online banking. Click here to view steps to set up access for you and/or your employees.

All activity that takes place in Accept Payments by Autobooks will also appear in your Autobooks view within online banking, so you'll always stay in sync.

  • Tap to Pay (if available)*

We recommend using FaceID once you begin using the app for even faster access to our payment tools.

 

 

 

Setting up access to Accept Payments by Autobooks

Once you've been approved to process payments through Autobooks, you can set up your access to the Autobooks app:

  1. You'll see invites to download our app in both the Dashboard and Payment Link tools. To begin, click Get the app.
  2. Enter your desired password for the Autobooks app. If you'd like to change the email address we've displayed for your login ID, you may do so now.
  3. Download Accept Payments by Autobooks from the App Store, then login using your new credentials.
  4. Best Practice: Set up FaceID access to the Autobooks app to access our payment tools faster.

 

To allow additional users to access Accept Payments by Autobooks, the primary admin user of the Autobooks account must:

  1. Log in to online or mobile banking, then click on an Autobooks tool.
  2. Select Settings from the menu. If you are logging in from your mobile phone, click the menu option in the upper right corner of the screen to locate the Settings tab. 
  3. Select the Administrator Profiles tab at the top of the screen.
  4. Click the Invite administrator button.
  5. Complete the required fields to set up your new user, then click Save.
  6. Your new user will receive an email invitation to set up their password. Have them follow the instructions in the email to establish a password (their email address will be their user name).
  7. The new user will download Accept Payments by Autobooks from the iOS App Store, then use their credentials to log in and begin taking payments.

NOTE: These new users will NOT be able to log into online banking or be able to access your business banking information.

 

Note: The Tap to Pay on iPhone feature is not available to all Autobooks users. If Tap to Pay is not present in your mobile experience, contact your financial institution to inquire about Tap to Pay.
