Check these settings if you're having trouble accessing Tap to Pay
If you do not see Tap to Pay inside your financial Institutions mobile application, check the following:
- Confirm that you are using an Apple iPhone XS or newer.
- Tap to Pay on iPhone with Autobooks is currently not available on Android devices. If you're using an Android device, you will not see Tap to Pay inside of your financial institution's mobile app.
- If you need to confirm which model iPhone you have, you can Identify your iPhone model here.
- After confirming your device hardware is eligible, check to make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS available.
- You can view which software version your iPhone is running with the following steps.
- Navigate to Settings > General > About
- If your device is not on the latest version of iOS, you'll need to make sure to update the software on your device before continuing.
- You can view which software version your iPhone is running with the following steps.
- Make sure you're running the latest version of your financial institutions iOS mobile application. This app will be available inside of the iOS App Store on your iPhone.
- Check that you are logged in with your business profile.
If not, please log out of your financial institution's mobile application, and then log back in with your business account information and credentials.
Note: This feature may not be available from your financial institution. After confirming all of the following information, if you're still not seeing Tap to Pay, you may want to contact your financial institution to confirm it is available.
