Why is my customer's payment being held by Autobooks?

Autobooks periodically monitors payment transactions in order to protect our business owners (and ourselves!) from becoming a victim of a fraud or scam.

On occasion, we may flag a transaction for further investigation. Our Merchant Services team will work quickly to resolve any questions we have regarding your transaction. While we work, the payment itself is held by Autobooks.

Autobooks may reach out to you via email to clarify details about a transaction or your customer. Once we receive your response, the transaction is either released (in the event everything looks good) or canceled (in the event our concerns remain).
